9/10/00 is a good show no doubt. It would be typical of management to pick a non flecktones show from September of 2000. So yeah not exactly the best choice for the month. Kinda like the recent 1998 release.

Honestly they could release the ingest turd of sept 2000 and it would be better than pretty much all releases in the past decades...at least top 5

Dave, Roi and Butch on that Jimi...just outstanding. Also the few times the band walked out on stage that month to the Imperial Death March, then going into a Seek Up? So fun.

We currently have 3 shows from the summer of 2000. Non of which have the flecktones guest spots. Those shows (with the flecktones guest spots) to end the tour in September are monstrous. To release another 2000 without those guest spots would be a slight disappointment. Any show from 2000 would likely be pretty darn good release. I’m just saying it’s time already.

What about this show is sloppy? I’m all the way though Warehouse and nothing about this is sloppy at all. High energy from both the band and the crowd. It’s almost as if they all knew what would come in the next month. By the way I love Stolen Away. Such a reminder of Roi on that tune. What a great sax rift.

The Long Train Running was sloppy, aside from that I'm not sure what else was poorly done. SUAD was short because I heard there was some sort of curfew? seems strange for a venue in Vegas, but it was deep within what looked like a conference center in the Cosmo. It was very odd tbh. the only think I could think of is that there are hotel rooms that could potentially hear the noise, but that seems way suboptimal to me because Vegas is a town that parties all night.

Been ages but I remember finding SUAD, Long Train Running, Tell Me Something Good, and What You Are not sounding very good. And I have mixed feelings on what they did with Beach Ball.
In retrospect though, it may be the tape. Does anyone have a good tape? The one I have sounds pretty crappy, tbh. A lot of the instrumentation sounds muddled together.

I don’t care about the covers. Those are automatic skips anyway. WYA, and SUAD sounded fine. Now the jam on SUAD was cut short, but it didn’t sound bad to me. The tape isn’t good, but I think that’s because the venue had a bad sound. I’m sure a proper sound board would sound a lot better

Yeah. Hard to genuinely evaluate a show when the tape just makes everything sound bad, honestly.

Dave's voice has a weird effect added to it with the sound on that show. Don't know whether it was the sound at the arena or the sound guy.
