But we had a local festival last weekend, Love from Philly, in which both the War on Drugs and Man Man recorded and edited full band performances. Man Man even added an element of entertainment to it with gags and stuff. Musicians (and engineers and such) are starting to figure out how to do these and its going to expand. Here's the War On Drugs killing it as always: |

It'd be fun to see some 2010-2016 shows, as I haven't seen the band since 2009 really. Don't care for the post-Boyd era, but I get it.

Don't want to derail the thread but just getting into these guys, and their live version of Pain is even better than the album version, and the album recording is fantastic |

They are my favorite band. I went to the last five shows they've played. They started a Christmas time Philly run in 2018 playing consecutive nights (Johnny Brenda's, union transfer, tower theater) and took 2019 off until playing union transfer and the Fillmore Christmas week. And Adam played a few new tracks on Instagram during the lockdown which sounded great. I started a thread on them in ndmbc a while ago but no one else cared. |

Hey Mario how’s the Ardmore music hall? I see so many shows from there on YouTube.
War on Drugs is great ![]() Dmb should do this with the windows song. And then a better song ![]() |

Crazy to think that if this goes until at least September (which I'm presuming it will, if not later), we're going to get at least 16 shows out of this.

I'm guessing there will be repeats. Gorge 2018, Camden 2018, whichever ones they did last year. But good to see them start with a fresh one. That wasn't even SiriusXM streamed.

The Youtube description gives me some hope that they'll dig into the archives a bit for these:

I'll be very surprised if we don't get shows from across the 2000s (whenever they started capturing HD at least) throughout the summer.

Man, I would love some of those early 2000 Tour shows to be streamed with the new LS tunes. Some of those Raven's and Grey Streets would be awesome to see in Full HD, though I doubt they captured the shows in HD in 2000.

It does look like they set the premiere time for 10pm, when it's supposed to start at 8. The Warehouse crew must have been involved with this. Last edited by cgator41; 05-06-2020 at 11:59 AM. |

They didn't, considering the 2002 MSG LiveTrax dvd is in 4:3 SD.

I'm looking forward to tonight's show. Even though it's from 2019, the setlist looks interesting and I missed a big chunk of listening to last summer's tour.
