I remember being so excited even to hear the radio edit on DC101 before BTCS came out. Couldn’t get enough of the transitions and of course the outro.
It’s the perfect example of letting the music be so captivating that you don’t even mind the pretty bad lyrics.

One of my all time DMB favs. Has been since the second I heard it in '98.

Took my gf to her first show in 2018. DMB was never on her radar but she loves live music. The show sucked but overall she enjoyed it. She likes Dave and Jeff the most.
The set closed with Rapunzel and she did not like that one at all. She said, “there’s way too much going on here.” She’s not wrong. I love 98-05 rapunzel’s but it’s such a mess these days. This isn’t exactly a set to win over a new fan ![]() Since then she made an alpine trip and had a great time. I wouldn’t say she’s a dmb fan but she understands it a lot more. |

Sets like that genuinely piss me off, re: Dave. Such an asshole for writing such nonsense. It just shows how much garbage he’s put together in the past two decades.

Some nights I swear he goes autopilot when he writes sets like that.

Really been enjoying listening to PNP/Rapunzels recently and focusing in on Stefan. LT34 and List Supp are fun ones to do that with.

Looks like a pretty normal show for 2018, to be honest.

In its history I like everyone on it except Rashawn. Even 2008+ Tim is distracting. The song is still really fun live, but it’s lost a lot of re listening value over the 3.0. years.
I would like it to opener more then close. To start the show PNP>Rapunzel would get the juices flowing. I saw it in the 2 spot a few years ago and that was nice. Even better would be to open with Heartbeat> Linus and Lucy But I’m not sure the current lineup could do it justice. The current crowd will be bored too, and probably talk all the way through it. They don’t seem to care until the band plays loud noises! Last edited by DIDO36; 02-08-2021 at 07:18 PM. |

This lineup would ruin heartbeat the same way they ruined OSW.

When DMB comes back they need to bring the intro back and give it to Jeff.
