Drove by there earlier on my way home from Maylath’s (stocked up on their frozen burgers, so good, highly recommended !) Stopped at the J Zapata truck for lunch for good measure.

Sams and Target weren’t bad at all. We’re gonna be good, just have to hold steady at home and try not to run out for this and that if it isn’t necessary.

The WHO's Situation Reports ( here's today's: [Only registered users can see links.] ) show a disease whose spread is accelerating - going from 4000 new cases reported daily at this time last week to over 9700 new cases reported yesterday. This needs to be taken seriously.

In addition, I don’t know if this is a hoax or not, but someone texted me a few minutes ago saying that a NJ state trooper told them that Trump may announce a complete government shutdown this Wednesday, for fourteen days. No stores, fas stations, etc.. Only hospitals and emergency services. I’m not sure if I believe this yet and I don’t want to spread any fear or misinformation. I hope this isn’t true, so please tell me if I heard wrong.

I’m not sure that something he has the power to do, but it looks like most places are voluntarily doing that anyway. And he said today that no matter what happens grocery stores and pharmacies are remaining open.

I don’t think that any country that has had a system-wide lockdown has shut down stores. That would basically be sentencing people to starvation. There are a lot of rumors flying around about this thing right now. I wouldn’t take anything seriously that doesn’t come directly from an official source.

New economic data is coming out of China. In Jan and Feb, retail sales were down 20.5%. Manufacturing was down 13.5% and asset investment was down 24.5%.
