Proudest Monkey (Mansfield 6/7/96) from Warehouse 8 Volume 1
Leroi is fabulous. One of my favorite versions despite Dave and his ramble about CNN ![]() |

Roi’s intro to PNP>Rapunzel from Orlando ‘98 is just phenomenal. It’s him at his best, even if it’s a short one. Love it.

Really would be sweet if Trouble gets some play this summer with DMB..a song everyone would welcome that they definitely don't need Boyd for. I wouldn't be surprised if that one's a lock. They might play a lot off that album for that exact reason that they don't need the violin for it. Wouldn't hold my breath, but makes sense. Some of these classic songs are going to be utterly brutal though without him. Despite his crappy playing, The sound of the violin missing in these songs is going to be tough for stuff like Billies, Ants, Crush, Nancies, Warehouse, etc. every night. I don't know if I can handle it. Maybe for once they'll decide to give those songs a break for this tour like they did with Two Step in '16--only play them a couple times each. One can dream.

Aside from performances where he obviously stands out with a solo, One Sweet World from 8/5/00 is one of my favorite performances featuring Butch. His additions within this version are so fluid and make me miss him more than ever. What he added to songs like this is what I truly miss.
A lot of really great performances of OSW over the years but this version from 8/6/00 is easily in my top 10, right behind 4/20/02.

Really great mix on this too. It almost reaches 12/31/95's level in terms of Roi's solo for PM.

God damn...with or without guests Cortez The Killer is such a great cover.
