I'm reserving judgment about the mix until I hear it. I'm not expecting it to sound THAT different.

Are there any auds from 92 out there? I'm expecting Peter's sound to be significantly less obnoxious than the sbds we have. Either way, definitely picking this one up, thrilled to see them digging deep.

Think again. Multitrack mixes sound way better than a board mix. Look at the last '98 DMBLive...only a 2 channel mix...still sounds decent but nowhere near as good as a multitrack mix such as on LT1 for example.

I'm excited about this release. It's probably not going to be much different then the muse release but it's still going to be an awesome release.

It'll be pretty different than that. Griesar was gone after March '93, and the band had further evolved by August '93.

Yeah, Fall '92 and Aug. '93 are very different beasts.

Yeah, I'm not an expert on early dmb. Mostly, I listen to 95 and up.

I do know one thing Dave's singing voice wasn't developed much in 92 or even 93. I think by 94 it was much better and I know it was better in 95.

I hope we get some clips soon. Still going to hold off on pre-ordering to make sure they get the mix right.

I do too for the most part but I've become cautious about pre-ordering since the UTTAD debacle. Just want to be sure.

He had a really free, light, and fun singing style early on. I like it for what it is. I agree it definitely developed sometime in 1993.

Not overly excited about this. But it could be a cool listen.

Help Myself up. I never think the mixes sound any good on the previews. Sounds interesting, though.

Nah, Boyd will totally butcher it like he did a few years ago.

Maybe to cover up for it, they should only play heavier tunes in an electric set, and make everything more homogeneous and full of sound and energy, with less intricate detail and individual solos.
