I was disappointed that the Piedmont bonus disc didn't have one of those Typicals, so I am cool with getting this now.

That Summer Sampler was pretty awesome though.

It would be nice to have a Tim version released and we no doubt will, but there 18 versions released for the '90s that cover Dave solo, Dave & Tim and full band plus multitudes of soundboards. I'll take this one over every single one of those except the Dionne Farris and the Raven version. Especially because I have little to zero desire for any 2007 show to be released. This is the perfect avenue for this version to be released. Give me Alpine 2012 full show for my Tim Typical release.

I do like that they're exploring 2007 performances though because there are still a handful I'd like to see get released someday. One in particular is #41 with Mayer from 10/2.

I'd love Jackpot from Bridgeview 07/08 or Two Step or Eh Hee from Alpine, too.

I listen to it regularly. It is one of their finest creations with the 2003 Tour Sampler. It helped that Piedmont and Central Park were pretty standard setlists leaving great songs to pick from for the bonus discs :-)

I wonder what rights issues they would run into with both. I Will Not Apologize is actually one of their tunes isn't it? Didn't he just rap their song over Eh Hee? and fuck Dave for missing that verse and making that come slightly short of an all-time required track. The Jackpot could be a problem because it's another person's track. I wouldn't think they would be problems because they're all buddies, but we don't have a live Love of My Life. Who knows.

Yeah I always liked that PP bonus disc even without the Typical. Good picks on that and some unique stuff too. Between that and the other '07 tracks they've released on WH discs (Eh Hee, Loving Wings, YNK, and now this DT and Typical) you could make a nice '07 compilation, no need for a full show release.

I stand by the fact that this is the single best show they have ever played in Chicago. The first month and a half of 2003 was flawless, hard to pick a bad show from that timespan.

And they released Tomorrow Never Knows instead (which I recall being a pretty shitty track).
