That Recently is a fucking treat. Hope they keep the little Davespeak afterward about how cool it was for them to have D'Earth playing on it that night and it being one of the first songs they recorded as a band with him.

That Sugar Will is also great stuff. If they ever release a "finished" version of that song, I hope it has the vocal melody from this one. If I remember right, the lyrics on this one are pretty stellar as well.

Nice to see a Typical as unique as that one, and The Dreaming Tree was so dominant from 07 onward that I'm down with any release of one.

The Riff and Snow Outside are always welcome, IMO, and I've always enjoyed #27 for what it is.

You and Me aside, good stuff this year.

the way i remember it the general response to that grammy performance was "wow, i actually liked that". it's about the only time the song has gotten praise around here.

I think the WH has been doing a much better job these last two years pulling out things for the hardcores. Think about it:

Gas Into Fire
ODH > WIA
Gravedigger Intro > Rapunzel
A Dream So Real
#40 (SPAC)
#34 (2005 debut)
Kill the King (debut)
Sugar Will (from 2010 and basically the only thing we'd really itch for from that Europe run)
Typical Jam (not my cup of tea but a nice rarity)
Recently from 4/18 (probably the most in-demand song from that two-nighter)

I am completely down with this tracklist. A couple could've been better, sure, but there's some great stuff here. I've been wanting releases of an 06 Kill The King, a recent Sugar Will, one of those unique Typicals, and the AFTW material for a while. I'm really excited to give this a listen.
