Can anyone let me know how to add the cover art to the ipod selections? Thanks

Right click on the song(s) and there is either a tab for artwork (for individual songs) or there is an artwork box when you select multiple songs.

how much room does artwork take up?
i guess its prob not much but if you have say 20gb of songs how much extra room is filled with art?

Depends on the file size of the art. If they're small pictures then they shouldn't take up too much, but if each art file is like 250k then they can add up very quickly.
