Re-Up
Hey all,
I've lost some of my music files and noticed I am missing LLMU and Dressed in Black. Can anyone help me out? |

Re-listening to Dressed In Black for the first time since AFTW was released, and there is an unmistakable similarity between this song and Rooftop.

I think I'm hearing keys on that but 5/9/01 was a show with the original 5. That's odd.

Well, I listened again and it's probably Boyd.

Wow, you're right. Just listened. Riff is definitely very similar.

I love both songs.
Light shows how this band can make simple riffs sound fantastic. |

Dressed In Black is definitely amazing... could have been a great song. Much better than Rooftop, though I like Rooftop. The "dying doesn't seem too bad / being left behind seems the troubled path" ... damn, haunting.

I shared a Dressed in Black clip on Dave’s Twitter handle and he actually responded. Said it was just a sound check clip and lots of ideas get thrown around but nothing comes of them.
