What a horrible drop. Have always LOVED that tune. That '97 Live Trax version is so damn good.

Agreed. Interesting how they’ve kept the Maker around, messed with Still Water for a time but never thought to bring back Wynona. Dave never fails to make me scratch my head

DMBalmanac
Wynona has always been one of my favorite DMB covers of all-time. Always solid.

Absolutely. It sounds best with a nice, mean-sounded distorted guitar. Surprised it's not been played since he came on full time.

There's a countryesque intro/outro to Wayg on 12/20/03. Longest version of the tour.

hi guys,
I've been listening to 5/23/93 (aka 5/27/93 and aka 6/27/93). For the longest time, this show was dated 5/27/93. Then one day it was thought to be 6/27/93. The almanac has it listed as 5/23/93 at Live Arts. However, I'm listening to 7/26/93 and at the end of OSW, Dave says he has not seen Tim since playing the Live Arts (again, which almanac has as 5/23/93) BUT, they played together on 6/13/93 (see DMBlive). Would this not mean that the 5/23/93 Live Arts show is in fact 6/27/93? |

Very interesting. I'll have to look back and see why we changed the date of the Live Arts show, but it seems like you're on to something.
EDIT: Looks like Dave mentions the 5/23 Live Arts show on 5/22, so a few things are possible. The most likely seems to be that there were two Live Arts shows in '93: 5/23 and 6/27. If that's the case, the tape that's in circulation could be either one (I'd lean toward 6/27 since Dave says it's summer). It's also possible that 5/22 is misdated. I'll keep looking into this. Thanks for the lead! |

there aren't really any weeks off. I suppose the 6/29 Trax date that there's no set of actually might not have happened and they didn't play that week.

1/28/95 stub - not on almanac [Only registered users can see links.]
More stubs in the comments too including what I would consider upgrades like 1/20/97 |

What the hell... there is a syntax error in the notes above the setlist in 7/16/00.

On the other hand, the Trax booking calendar has DMB listed on 6/29, and it's not crossed out or replaced with another band, so that makes me think 6/29 did happen. |
