Pretty fun 4th Quarter in the Denver/Charger game. Denver really shot themselves in the foot and almost lost. I must say, the chargers look a whole lot better than I thought they would. Their defense is not bad and Rivers despite his lack of winning, is still a damn good QB. They might have a chance to catch a wildcard spot if they play at that level all year

The icing the kicker bullshit has to stop, it really spoils games for me.

I felt bad for the rookie kicker...dude makes his first NFL FG to tie up a game that previous looked like a loss and then that shit only to have the second kicked get blocked resulting in a loss.

Yeah that's real bullshit. I guess they can't stop you from calling a timeout but you should have to do before the ball is snapped. If you call it during or after the snap, it doesn't count

I don't mind the icing as long as the ball isn't snapped yea. It drives me nuts when the ball is snapped and the dude attempts the kick only to find out (made or missed) that it didn't count.

yeah, that's the issue we're all referring to. if they call a timeout beforehand like any other timeout, of course yeah that's no problem.

And Cinncinati starts 0-2. Not good. Their offense really looks like it has regressed. I know Houston is supposed to have a good defense, but they got destroyed by the Jags in Week 1 so time will tell on that. They matched up well with Cinci last night. I think this will be Marvin Lewis's last year as coach unless he takes them deeper than the wildcard game...right now not looking good.

I wonder how my Denver Broncos will make our this season. Oakland is a scary team. So are the Chiefs.

Basically the entire AFCW aside from LA, but again they got hosed on the icing the kicker call.

I'm skeptical of this Broncos team. They had a hell of a showing versus Dallas, but I'm skeptical about Semien. I think they fade.

Well, they just got dominated by the Giants who had literally their entire team hurt. I'm not a big fan of Simian either, I think he's a good QB, but he's not good "enough". He's not going to be "elite". If Denver's Defense doesn't carry them, I don't think they'll go very far. Though now with Oakland missing Carr, they might have a chance to pick up a wildcard spot, or they can hope KC starts to tank.

I'm at the Eagles-Broncos game right now. I feel so embarrassed and I'm drinking the rest of the game away
