Thought he was even more awkward than usual when playing. Will chalk it up to the suit.

I didn't notice any real problem with Dave in that vid. Playing guitar in a suit is just awkward and annoying, I've done it before, just feels restricting. He has his guitar REALLY high up on his chest these days too, probably due to some carpal tunnel issues, so that makes it look awkward too. I didn't find his voice to be bad at all here.

6/20/2000 was the only time he played it on a 12-string, according to DMB Almanac. It didn't sound all that different on the recording I had.

It seemed like the tempo was a little too fast

I thought that Crush was cool. Didn't care much for Rashawn's parts, but overall it was pretty cool how it was played so closely to the album version (until the end of course). Sounded just like the album for most of it, except the tempo was off/fast at times.

I’ve seen that performance probably 25 times, but I had completely forgotten about the electric guitar.

I thought the same. His guitar skills on stage have gotten realllly bad. No idea what he's capable at home, but I'm so sick of seeing up there either playing simple filer or nothing at all on stage. For a musician who's known as quite an original guitar player, he's become incredibly underwhelming. I guess that's what happens when you rely heavily on a guy like Tim for what, 9 years straight now? I really dislike the sound of those Rockbridge guitars he plays. So dull and flat sounding.
