I spend most of my music time writing or working on originals.

I write my own music but can't sing worth shit. I come up with lyrics, some good some bad. But since I can't sing I tend not to finish anything.

I play sax/clarinet, but not much in an improv setting...I'm more of a riff/written-part guy. I'd love to play in a group, and get a little better at improv, but there is a severe lack of decent musical outlets in my area. The few groups that have involved winds/strings etc, have fallen apart due to graduations/moving.

I have a whole collection of great ideas, and a couple really solid musicians who'd love to get into something.....but we are missing bass, lead guitar, piano....

I write my own music and poetry. It's a passion I've had since I was in grammar school.

I make up plenty of riffs and little tunes, but to be honest I'm about 100 percent self-taught and know little about chord names. I'm just too lazy to learn the names I guess. I know some of the basics by name (G, E, C and so on), but that's where it ends. But I can probably switch over to 50 different chords without missing a beat, though I couldn't tell you what the majority of them are called.
