Also in the market for the new Blenheim disc, thanks pals

Also how do I get more PM storage so I can stop figuring out which ones to delete every time I ask for something.

ha yeah agreed it was pretty bad.

i've listened to a few and usually they aren't great but the guest comedian that they have usually can improve it quite a bit...this one did not.

Stuff That Doesn't Need Its Own Thread (DMBc Version)

The Celebration Rock Poscast episode on LWS was decent. A DMB fan tries to convince Steve Hyden, a vocal DMB hater, why DMB and LWS are good. I laughed at “it’s like Jimmy Buffett but with trickier time signatures”.

I’m hearing the non-destination city winter shows aren’t exactly catching fire. Also been getting the Mexico shows advertised to me nonstop, they seem to be making a big push to move more of those tickets.

It seems the revival may be over.

Not a lot of people know who DMB are outside the US. I know that’s common knowledge here but it does still ring true.

I don’t feel bad for them at all. They get to tour the world, eat at the finest restaurants, stay in luxury accommodations...all as a business expense

For the most part they are small. There are some smaller arena set-ups too but you can view the interactive maps and see there are still tons left. London seems to be selling the best but no sell-outs or close sell-outs are to be found.

Ryley Walker’s Indie Rock reimagining of LWS sounds pretty interesting.

I think they played the full O2 Arena in London last time they were there.

Might've sold like shit though.

Yeah wouldn't think they'd be popular enough to play arenas in Europe but figured they could sell out a theater. $69US face for the London show...
