I saw them with Fallon, it was pretty cool. They played a new song and Flying Saucer Dudes x2.

Never caught a Flecktones show, but I've always wanted to.

I was lucky enough to see them twice. Both times with Coffin. I was blown away

Flecktones on hiatus now but I don't think they'll ever permanently hang it up. They've toured as a trio before, but I'd love it if they reunited with Paul McCandless

And the fact that we were robbed of a DMB/Flecktones reunion last year was a huge disappointment

not sure if this is a popular opinion or not....

Can't stand the jackasses that chant: "DMB! DMB! DMB! or DAVE! DAVE! DAVE!" during the encore breaks. Just a pet peeve at the moment.

I saw them three times with Coffin. And while I like all the musicians in the group, I have no desire to see them without Jeff.

Chanting? I get cheering, yelling, whistling. For some reason, the chanting annoyed me when listening to a show this morning.

This isn't the popular opinion thread.

I really liked what Butch contributed to the band. He was a solid player and really filled out a lot of empty space. The band sounded much more full and powerful when he was in the mix.

Also, I didn't mind the Lovely Ladies every once in a while, on a few songs. Except fuck those long Angels. I never got why they needed to give each lady a 3 minute solo. Like an excuse to not play or relearn other songs.

As much as I love each of them, I'm with you...they're not the same without Jeff. Never been as big of their pre-97 stuff.
