Best D+T LIOG period.

Although I went to Utica (and Cornell) as well and that had some nice highlights.

0 debate.

That is one track I put on a few times a year in the car and just jack it. It has never let me down. Even though ar this point I have built it up so much I half expect it to. It is true perfection.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah I think we basically knew that he didn't show up and that's when they were like "okay, you're done." We just don't know exactly how it went down.

1/29/99 was the best LIOG from 1/29/99 until 7/6/16

I seem to remember a bunch of people saying DMB intentionally timed it to fool them into buying tickets then announcing right afterward. Huh.

This Two Step from 6/6/17 w/ Hamilton de Holanda is fabulous. He should tour with the band.

'A bunch of people' ≠ mario

Jeff's initial silence towards the Boyd topic and him closing pretty hard with "it's not really anyone's business" did get slightly awkward. The interviewer was lucky his helper came in and changed the conversation. Dave's interview mid tour was intentional and is the be all/end all commentary on the subject.

Can't wait for the unauthorized inside look at the band. We need a jaded stage hand or tech with several decades of experience to expose them.

Is there a better performance from D/T of any song? This is up there with anything.

These 99 shows will never get old for me.

I donít think so. I know people love 3/7/99 Seek Up, but this is just hitting on all cylinders. And the improv is so perfect, and so unique. This is truly peak Dave and Tim.

You realize his quite actually proves you wrong, right?

Everyone kind of knew before the Super Bowl show but kept it on the DL and Boyd didn't show up because they were going to push him out.

Yet, they kept it quiet until after they sold the summer tour tickets.

To be clear, it starts at 27 minutes of the interview.

Eventually, Jeff is asked "around the super bowl, when the announcement was made he wouldn't be playing the summer tour, were you shocked?"

Jeff answered "I had known a little bit before then, but not much."

The announcement was made the night before the February 3rd gig. Which is also the same day tickets went on sale.

So Coffin literally confirmed they knew Boyd wouldn't be on the Summer Tour but kept it secret until after the summer tour on sale date.
