Looks like they're bringing that beat back again right now though...

I'm fond of this venue having seen my first show ('97) and 10th show ('99) here, and grew up nearby. The later was the first time I saw dave play a show without the black chet atkins guitar. The venue got that cool D&T Seven a little while back. Figure it's some kind of wine or bottling relationship that makes these happen.

I'd have been happy with this set, but I'm really surprised they didn't play one or two more songs from the new album. I thought Black and Blue Bird and/or Come Tomorrow were guarantees.

Teased Seek Up
Sister was the first encore song on paper, changed to Whiter Shade of Pale
Also on paper was double encore...
Sister
cornbread

Nancies
Ants

Thought there would be more CT songs but glad there wasn't.
Ben the sax guy was ok, some parts sounded great and others were odd
Great show overall, 5 audio sources.

Pretty nice set, proving once again that for some reason Dave plays it safe with the band and doesn't challenge those fucks to practice or re-learn shit.

Did Dave use ears or wedges?

Hope The Stone is sticking around now.
