I don't think those bottom two pics are the same venue.

So far, the venue from 4/1 looks the nicest.

Good looking set, but that encore is... not my favorite.

A few good tunes sprinkled into this set. Same can be said for the last 5 years of DMB tours. Ho hum.

Basically, it Didn't have a lot of songs that I don't like. It's a terribly low bar, but that's pretty much the best you can hope for.

You and Me closing shows is absurd. Tim should speak up or something. Regardless of whether you like the song or not, horrible song to end a show with.

Oh how I miss the days when sets looked like this:

04.04.03 (BTW this show should be released, one of my favorite from the '03 D+T tour.)

Bartender
When The World Ends
Busted Stuff
Two Step
Everyday
Grace Is Gone
Grey Street
Best Of What's Around
Tripping Billies
The Stone
Gravedigger
Stay Or Leave
Warehouse
Where Are You Going
The Wayfarer
The Maker
Crush
Don't Drink The Water
Cry Freedom
Lie In Our Graves
Pay For What You Get
Kundalini Bonfire
Jimi Thing >>
WWBOM
#41
Ants Marching
-----------------
Dancing Nancies

WTf? Where are Shows like this!? Yes I know there's so much more material now, but even if you replace a handful of songs in this set with some newer ones it's still 10x better than most of the sets from this year. Even if you took out 7-8 of those and put in recent stuff. I would do it but I don't know how to do stuff like that on a forum. Someone else can. Christ that run from maker to the end of the show is flawless. Probably never see a set written like that ever again.

Yep. The fact that PFWYG and/or IBYU have not been played this tour is fucking mind blowing. But not really b/c it's Dave.

People WANT you and me to close shows. He is doing it because the crowds are shoutong for it. I don't mind the song, but these are the people left in the fanbase now. Nothing is going to change that.

This is the sad truth.

The reason we don't get sets that look like the 2003 sets anymore is that we've got nearly a decade and a half of new, mostly subpar songs since then, and most of the people who are still seeing shows are fans of those songs.

Yup, we look at sets and see dodo, dreaming tree, and sugar will and think, 'awesome.' They see those songs and go, "eh. Why no corn bread, bayou or spaceman?"
