hahaha he says that a bunch during the show. As shitty mixes as the IEMs were, they made for a entertaining listen....

I like how after Halloween Dave says we are done with that until Philly....

I kind of like the mix on the tracks you posted actually. Halloween sounded really good. The background vocals are insane on WWYS though and everyone else is a bit quiet. I've heard much worse though.

If there is interest I can do something with it. Someone PM me already. I was thinking of tossing it on what.cd, but knowing some of the ppl it will get taken off because of the source...

What is the preferred method of getting this? Zip the MP3's? Post all the tracks as 256/or 320 mp3s? FLAC?

This mix isn't bad, but if I remember correctly the 6.16 and 6.17.2001 discs that I have at home which are IEM also sound near perfect. I wish more people mixed these with AUD tapes...

I'm sorry.

Just curious...what is the point of this thread then? Just a pissing contest so people can lie/fake what they claim to have?

I am aware of the whole IEM debate and I am against the taping of them to be honest, but that era has come and gone long ago. Other then that one in 2008 these are almost decade old recordings. Didn't see the problem with sharing a few tracks.

If it's even a question of getting banned though have no fear I will not post or discuss them again.

uhh... the point of this thread is to discuss SBD's, not IEM's.

Honestly, the people who would not have/have heard these are the newer posters who did thank you. Like you say, they are old recordings and are widely spread. That said, the band does not condone the the taping/trading of iems and we choose to follow the rules the band sets forth. I wasn't going to bust balls over a track or two, but it started to go to far.

The point of this thread is to just get a general assessment as to what's out there. What's circulated, what's not, general quality of certain SBD's, some you may not have known that existed that are actually widely circulate, etc...

I know you've read Phil's(pgr17's) thread about not posting officially released material, including IEM's and post '95 SBD's. We can sticky the thread again but we've all been around long enough to know better.

I do know better. Sorry. This thread is just boring and makes me wish I had my cases of old shows and tapes from home.

Someday I will go thru them and it will be awesome.

You're right, it would. It would be specifically against their rules.

I've said this before, but I'll say it again, the band should loosen up it's stance on the post '95 SBDs. There aren't that many of them and it would be great if we could all share them freely. I believe bootlegging isn't nearly as much of a concern anymore as it was when this policy was first created. I may be wrong though.
