I'm excited for this. Dave and Carter look like they're having fun in the Satellite clip.

If anything has been the highlight of his By Request sets, it's been his voice.

Ugh, Satellite. I donít care how good it sounds, thatís a lame slot choice for one hours worth of music.

There's talk of a new album on Ants. I was there the other night when this board was down. Not sure if any of it is substantiated or if it was from a credible source.

Definitely something coming album wise. Carter was already recording congas for it.

Yeah I think we all know they recorded new songs, and finished the session with all the band members. Dave has confirmed this.

You've been fairly negative lately man.

Its something that is free, something we didn't know nor expect was coming and its fucking Carter and Dave, something never really done in the last few decades. Just appreciate you're getting it. The could be just shooting the shit for hour and i'd watch that. Just good to see Carter again.

Yeah, I'm more sick of Satellite than anyone and I'm okay with it here. (Seriously, I'd rather hear almost any DMB song live than Satellite at this point)

So we know the set so far is

Say Goodbye
Satellite

probably gonna get another 10 songs on top of that if it's really a full hour.

I kinda wish they didnt release these clips. Id rather just have it all be fresh. (i suppose i could have done that by not checking the board, etc. but still)

I wonder if they recorded it with release intention, meaning Dave will talk to the camera and stuff. I kinda hope not because I'd rather the hour is full of music than 75% music and 25% Dave talking about "these difficult times" to camera or whatever, like the live broadcasts.

Yeah, I like Dave and appreciate (some of) his thoughts. But I just want to hear the music. And maybe a few fun back and forths with Carter.

Yeah, part of me feels like it's not going to be a full hour of music, but there will be an "intro" or clips in between. The election is over now though, so there won't be all this "go out and vote" stuff, so hopefully it's less talking. If there is I don't think it will be talking to the camera, because it's clearly not live. So if there's anything it'll be cuts to other footage or interview type stuff. We'll see I guess.
