Itís an hour apparently. The term ďspecial hour of musicĒ I think was used somewhere officially.

The way Dave sings now, I just don't see it working with a full drum set behind him, but I'm being nitpicky. it's certainly cool to see, could have just been Dave solo again or Dave and Tim, so at least this is unique.

Carter looks fit! That beard is tight as hell, but he also looks super trim compared to recent history

Loving the beard for Carter. Also I’m impressed at how great this sounds. I don’t know why but I expected Carter’s drums to be overpowering. Seems to fit perfectly. That’s the magic of the studio I suppose.

Were my thoughts as well, but Carter isn’t playing super hard or banging the crap out of the drums like he usually does, which also helps. I hope this year made the band realize the things they take for granted and will make them even stronger when they come back.

Damn that Say Bye sounds awesome! I’m looking forward to this! I would love to see Halloween on this, but it would be tough to reproduce the energy of 12/4/00 without a crowd.

In the back of my head, I’m hoping this is followed by a new album announcement tomorrow, along with a single (which would usually drop on a Friday). I mean, this performance is taken from a studio session for a new album, so it’s almost weird if they don’t connect this to promoting a new album.

Im very much looking forward to Dave actually playing guitar here. I think one of the good things about 2020 is actually hearing him play his instrument again. It isnt 96 anymore, but hes still playing by himself and doesnt have Tim to rely on. I think that might be the best part of this.

TDC has been going down a few times lately. Hopefully it's online tonight to discuss the session.
