2 back to back LTs from the 90s! I hope they give us a 2000 or 2002 next. Stay away from 2008 onward is my opinion.

I couldn’t get TDC to work after my last comment joking about me being Lillywhite and emailing it to me. Thought I created all hell breaking loose with that comment and got us shut down

Glad we are back.

I donít understand why DMB management didnít take the opportunity to make a DVD out of this release if a pro shot actually exists. Surely they have it in the archives right?

It would make the release much more exciting.

I’m not gonna lie I kind of want them to do another major live album release. The last one they did was now 10 years ago I think from NYC. Maybe the band/mgmt has no desire to go through all of that promo and marketing for a major in store release these days. But I hope they eventually pull the trigger on that one day. Maybe a more modern show with a blu ray. I know deer creek got the blue ray treatment not that long ago.

I like this idea a lot, but F a modern show. They have to have something professionally filmed from the stadium runs back in 1998-2000. That would be ideal. I’m leaving out 2001 because we have FF and most of those 2001 shows aren’t great.

Then again this ain’t the 90s/early 2000s. Who the fuck goes out to buy a release anymore? Unless it’s vinyl

Technically the last actual new in-store release was Hollywood Bowl 2018 on vinyl.
Funny enough, that would have made a better video release than audio. Not a great show to listen to.

As far as in store releases are concerned, who still buys music that way? I do t say that to be an asshole, just that I can’t imagine it is worth their time and effort to do that kind of release any more with the exception of record store day kind of releases.

Agreed. I only buy vinyl if anything, or the occasional BluRay maaaybe.
But I have noticed that in-store releases tend to go up on streaming services on release day, which doesn't happen for LiveTrax releases for example.

Agreed. Lots of artists (most?) don't even put out CDs anymore. It's not financially viable.

Yeah no way we get three in a row. I'm fine with the next being a 4.0 show but hopefully they dive back into the archives soon after that. For now, I'm just psyched we're getting this. Be grateful people

To be clear, is there a pro shot or is Mersh being his typical sarcastic self?

I'd tell you but then I'd have to kill you.

In all honesty I'm guessing the latter.
