I work at a golf course just got done aerating greens and tees. Walking behind a john deere aercore 800 for 18 hours combined over 3 days = not fun.

Played 9 today after work -- shot like crap.

My current iron set has hybrids and I've decided that I can't stand them. I don't know who decided they were better than standard irons, but I'm absolutely switching back to a normal 3/4 with my next set.

I can't hit a 3/4 iron to save my life. Hybrids are so smooth

2 kids has definitely reduced the amount of golf i can play...my brother can beat me regularly now, which kills me, but he's playing like 3-4 times a week, and i've played maybe 3-4 times this year. the little time i do have i mainly just work on my swing...i've been taking online golf lessons on evolvr, which has a stack and tilt lean in their swing methodology...i know the stack and tilt commercials are cheesy as can be, but if you know anything about swing theory it's a very legitimate way to go about it. i read the stack and tilt book a year or so ago and it made the most sense of any golf swing theory book that i've ever read. unfortunately no stack and tilt instructors in my area, hence the online lessons. the lessons are perfect for me, as i can focus on one change at a time when i can find time and move on from there. really affordable too...you can send in 4 lessons per month and the monthly charge is $40. i'm lucky to get 1-2 videos in per month though...find time to work on the changes until i'm comfortable enough to send in footage.

i'd like to upgrade my irons and driver next year once some of these swing changes have taken...i don't want to get fit until the swing changes are more ingrained

quit my job back in April and went back to work at the local country club as a caddie and bagroom guy. Best decision I've ever made. Been playing at least 3 times a week all summer

Can we talk mini-golf?

The 36-hole course at Universal Studios Florida was a pretty good time.

I really need to learn how to golf for my career. It's kind of crucial in order to network in my company.

Speaking from experience -- get lessons, don't try teaching yourself how to play. You'll have a lot more fun.

definitely. There was so many nuances to the swing. If you learn the wrong way, you'll pick up many bad habits that'll be hard to break

Weather isn't supposed to be great which definitely hurts him, but you can never count Tiger out at Augusta.

That being said, I have eyes on DJ to win this weekend. I also have a few bucks on the line
