If we can barely hear the audience and their excitement for these performances...then part of the purpose of the release is kinda negated in my opinion.

The show is amazing, and just like 12/7/98, the rest of the Hartford '00 weekend needs to be released in all it's glory.
I'm on-board in terms of an almost direct-from-the-soundboard kinda feel. Still, it really doesn't come in to my mind much when listening... like now, while Dave is wailing during Say Bye if you have the volume loud enough, you definately hear the crowd's reaction. And listen to the crowd's reaction to Grey Street... intense

It's certainly not a terrible mix musically. The levels are real nice with the one exception being Roi's level jumping a bit too high during the Heartbeat Jam, but other than that everything is so smooth. I just wish the crowd was mixed in a bit more. GGP and RR '05 are other examples of this.

yup, I still think 8/26 is better. But, I've been taking shit about that opinion since 8/28/00.

yea, raven was unfairly treated with those new lyrics. This is why I have to believe it is about the catholic church and not the environment. Loved, loved, loved this song summer '00.

8/25 had the energy, 8/27 had the setlist, and 8/26 was an equal balance of both. What a weekend.

Best line. Hilarious how he has lines like that and in the same song he busts out stuff like "Not a hope in hell for mankind if we suck up in despair". Who knows what the hell he's thinking.

What do you prefer? I'll be honest and say I never listen to a lot of Ravens, but this version is one of my favorite DMB tracks of all time. Just love his delivery and voice on this one.

This is probably my most listened to live release. I love listening to it while mowing the yard....it really relaxes me. Great show, great set, great mix...great tour!

I absolutely love the mix on this release. The lack of crowd noise doesn't bother me in the least. Everything is so crisp and clear.

From what I remember of 8/26, and what I've heard on the tape, I'd be all for a release.
