Anytime I've got the flu shot, the next day I feel slightly under the weather. But it's a far cry from actually having the flu. No chills, fever, coughing, sniffles, etc. Just a lowgrade icky feeling.

Good to know any symptoms would show up fairly quickly. I would think if you don't show symptoms within 36 hours, you're not going to have symptoms. I guess I'll wait and see.

I wouldn't call them symptoms; it's not a disease. Side effects is the better term. You'll be fine.

the only reaction I've had to a shot was when I got a hepatitis show a couple of years ago. There was an outbreak in Louisville so pretty much every restaurant work in the area got a free one.

My arm was super sore for a few days.

Shot for the flu? Kills way fewer people than COVID does every year.

I guess you could say I work in a Petri dish to. I work with the public. Never got a flu shot in the past and thankfully never got sick. For some reason I decided to get one this year. Maybe it was the text from my union telling me it was free. I really don't know. I went to get it about a week ago and didn't have any side effects. I don't see any reason why I shouldn't get one next year or the year after. I'm also not getting any younger. I'm sure my immunity isn't going to be the same as it was 20 years ago.
