I’m going to make a broad statement that some might not appreciate: With only a few exceptions, Clapton’s solo studio work does almost nothing for me. Yardbirds? Bluesbreakers? Cream? Blind Faith? Derek & The Dominos? All great. Live Clapton at basically any point (especially the 70s)? Awesome. Solo studio albums? Nothing.

I agree, and it's funny you say that because what I'm listening to on this Deluxe Edition is the live tracks from an April '77 show on Disc 2. I LOVE the version of Badge in particular. Check it out if you haven't.

Although I do have a soft spot for "Behind the Sun". I was 15 when that came out and saw him at Nassau Coliseum on that tour.

I will. Iíve got the Crossroads 2: Live in the 70s box set, and literally every single track smokes, except the four unreleased studio tracks tacked on to the beginning and end of it.
