Really, though. One of the more emotional runs Ive seen at DMB. Perfectly placed first full band Some Devil and then The Maker. If I'm remembering right, the vibe was completely killed by Bayou
yep

Also Toots on Warehouse was a little awkward

Completely forgot about that. Yeah it was definitely awkward. Just making the connection now that Trey and Toots had worked together in the past. Probably a cool backstage scene that night.

Was this the night of that incredible Shotgun? Sometimes I blur SPAC 07 and SPAC 08 together...

Honestly, and this isn't a "SPAC is better than everything!!" post, both the SPAC 07 and the SPAC 08 Shotguns were amazing. SPAC 07 because it seemed to have great composure, and SPAC 08 because the lyrics Dave improved were pretty emotional. Great stuff.

Those rugs really tied the stage together.

I remember liking one much more than the other to be honest. Shotgun got too screamy for me. I think it was the '07 one that I really dug

Haha that's like your worst nightmare. I don't mind Jack Johnson. He's the epitome of easy listening. He can be pretty boring, but he's mostly inoffensive.

i don't hate jack johnson, i just find him so bland and boring to the point of ALMOST making me hate him.

but hearing him play a jimmy buffett song, who's a top 5 hack, is enough to give me a stroke in a fit of rage.
