That isn't too surprising. The majority of YouTube users are male, too.

Other social sites (Tumblr, Pinterest) are more female dominated.

First off, reel that in. It's been 3 shows.

Second, it's comment about Rashawn more than anything.

I think I just hit upon what DMB's new music has devolved into over the past nearly 20 years. A lot of songs for folks who don't give a toss about lyrics or even memorable melody. They just want to dance in the moment.

Not every song, mind you. But most of them.

Take the song Stand Up. Listening to the most recent live version. It's catchy, this is undeniable. The music anyway. The lyric, as discussed a million times, is vagueness to the nth degree. Stand up to who? What man has a bomb? Fuck. But the music is snappy after a while. All that matters for many fans.

Really curious what guests we will see this tour.
I can imagine the on stage energy will be incredible. (now with the addition of Buddy Strong)

Just thinking about Robert Randolph, Joe Lawlor, etc

Mark Batson is the only confirmed guest as of yet.

Central Park may not have been the absolute greatest setlist, but damn this a fun performance and show to listen to. Listening to it today after a long time of not listening to it and it's such a fun listen.

Does it count if you are really only using yt as a DVD/bluray player?
I have all my shows uploaded for ease of watching, I don't search yt for stuff except a new song here or there. Still nerdy?

The Doors started ground-breakingly as a long form experimental fusion band and ended as a real tight blues band. Dylan was not even there he morphed so much. Maybe DMB ends as an awsome pop rock band.

The addition of Rashawn created the best vocal arrangement of the band. Now Boyds subtraction makes it even a little better.

Rashawn's signifance in the band comes from his histoy with Roi. With Jeff playing many openers and several guest spots throughout the 90's, and Tim having always been there, dare I say this is the best form of the band ever. Especially with keys in the mix, that are better than butch.

Its a good time to be alive, and fun to be on the verge of an album like this...

...and a really good one at that

I still think it’s in the debate of one of the best shows they’ve ever played. For me it’s definitley a top 5 show. While there were no real rarities busted out, the classic songs are almost all the best versions of those songs possibly ever. (Two step, wh, Jimi etc. down the line could be argued as best versions ever, or at the very least in the debate). The flow of the show is fantastic as well, there really are not a lot of dud spots. Even the encore which at the time was criticized would look pretty good on paper these days.
