I don't know that I've ever been more excited for any other television series.

Just going to be a let down. I mean, I'm going to love it, but the internet is going to be all like, 'meh.'

I'm prepared for that. I've long ago made peace with the fact that I disagree with the internet (and more specifically internet commenters) about everything.

Yeah, I'm prepared for that, but I'm still pumped. I don't need it to be out of this world great, just 15 more episodes of exactly what they did 7 or 8 years ago.

well the structure is going to be very different.

i think if you're expecting or wanting the exact same show you're going to be very disappointed. everything i've read hints at this being very different.

tonally probably the same, which is what really counts.

And with it being Memorial Day weekend, there's a very good chance I'll watch the entire season at least twice through. 15 episodes at about 25 mins each . . . what's that like 6.5 hours? Definitely doable.

Yeah, I was more referring to the overall writing quality and the use of the characters, running jokes, callbacks, etc.

Wasn't there some talk about there not being a narrator? That's a little disappointing, but not a deal breaker.

I thought I read it somewhere but could be wrong. I could see it though since each episode is focusing on one character, there might be less of a need for a narrator helping you as they switch back and forth between plots.

But I hope I'm just crazy.

Pretty sure he recently tweeted a pic of him doing voice over. If be stunned if that wasn't in there, it was essential to the original
