I love Mantic, great effects company but the PLL effect is really dominant on this album. That's not as much a critique as much as something I noticed having owned a Flex but if you're not in the "how does Jack white get those sounds?!?!" camp then it kind of loses it's mystique. It's obviously still a solid effort, just not my favourite by him.

Question for my TDC peeps. I’ve been a Spotify Premium member since 2012, but recently I’ve been thinking about giving Apple Music a try. Anyone here use both? Thoughts and opinions?

I saw them right after Maps came out. It was a pretty small venue. It was also clear that 90% of the people there ONLY knew Maps. Such a small venue that I literally sat on the stage for most of the show.

During the song "Our Time" when it got to the first chorus Karen O put the mic in someones face and she has NO IDEA what the words were. She tried this like 3 times and no one had a clue. So she just sang it herself.

Fleetwood Mac fired Lindsay Buckingham, who will be replaced by Mike Campbell (of the Heartbreakers) and Neil Finn (of Crowded House). As much as it’ll hardly feel like Fleetwood Mac anymore without Buckingham, that’s a lot of talent coming in to replace him.

Not bad. I’m seeing David Byrne here in Dayton in August, and I’m really looking forward to that show.

We've had live jazz at work the last couple of weekends. It has been quite enjoyable.

I just discovered that the NPR Tiny Desk Concert has a Roku app, so there goes all my free time for the next few weeks.
