Or men could just not take advantage of black-out drunk women. Might as well toss that into the "personal responsibility" pile too.

Edit - Basically what Brian said.

The alcohol isn't preventing a woman from saying no. It's taking away her inhibitions so she wants to have sex. If you take a substance that you know will alter your behavior, you should be held accountable for that behavior and not blame somebody else for "raping" you.

For the record, I don't go into bars and clubs and I don't drink. I pickup women during the day when they are perfectly sober. My game is so tight I don't need alcohol.

I really hope I'm just being dense and reading this wrong.

edit: As an aside, I'm not even sure how defining rape came up here in the first place. Spence was just talking about abortion.

Not sure what else to tell you. It's true.

I would even say women drink on purpose knowing that it will be easier for them to find a man

Yup, that's exactly why women drink.

I didn't say that's the only reason, but women put a lot of effort into bring approachable. Drinking and being a little laid back makes it easier to get laid. Luckily for me I do yoga/meditation/self-hypnosis so I can be laid back without drinking.

You have to be moderate about issues. You can't be one extreme nor the other. It just doesn't work like that anymore.

I actually have strong political aspirations and want to start getting involved this year.

Unfortunately, that seems to be exactly how it works, at least in terms of being successful politically. More so on the right side of the aisle, but it's true in general.

It's our own fault; everyone keeps voting for a more bitterly divided Congress and then we freak down if they dare cave on the slightest issue.

Obama's making a big speech tomorrow outlining his gun control plan. In the article I just read it implied that if Congress doesn't pass it he'll just use his Executive powers and pass it anyway.

Wow. We better never have a gun school shooting in our state then. Good luck with that.
