That Waste was rough at first but wow what a killer version. Amazing to see them on stage together again.

We need more Trey and Dave.

Like how Dave says "I love Trey" before busting into Stay or Leave.

99% sure I mentioned this on the boards but my brother was at a trade show in NYC in the fall of 2016 and he had dinner with Trey's personal trainer. At that time Dave and Trey were looking to book some studio time together in 2017. No additional details but at least it came from a source close to one of them.

Seems over the years when Bela is around or opens he guests. Same goes for Warren.

And this was basically a co-bill w Dave and Trey so any rumor of Trey not being able to be around Dave whether it was true in the past had to be rectified.
I think the biggest reason people thought they might not do anything together is that they shared a bill just two months ago (11.2.17 in Santa Monica) and didn't collaborate.

I don't believe Trey has guested w Dmb since Tim came on board.
Tim was able to play at Radio City and wasn't asked. There's gotta be something to that.

Maybe that's what Brady Blade was referencing in that one interview that circulated in late 2016.... I almost positive he said he was going into the studio w Matthews sometime in 2017

Tim does not like trey. But, I was always under the impression that stemmed from behavior exhibited recording and tour for Some devil. Trey has certainly gotten help and lives a better life now. Surprised they couldnít work that put.

He was talking about the sessions down in NOLA with Jakob Dylan. He also seemed to be contradicting himself quite a bit if I recall correctly.

And yeah, Tim doesn't like Trey apparently, but that's from 15 years ago, so I don't think it's a huge beef that would prevent them from being in the same room/stage.

If you don't count the members (Rashawn, Butch, Tim etc.) as guests, then they have put 20 different people on it. Well technically 17 (I was counting the Lovely Ladies as 3 separate people, but we view them as 1 guest). So really 17 different guests which is WAY too many for such a terrible song. And they had Tower of Power on it and that was 6 people on one version, so if you want to be fair we can count that as "1 guest" too. Still 11 different guests if you do that.

In fact they've wasted incredible guest spots from Warren Haynes, Gary Clark Jr, Eric Krasno, David Ryan Harris and Stanley Jordan on this song to name a few.

Another fun fact. DMB has played "Can't Stop" 75 times live.

That's more than they've played Kit Kat Jam, Broken Things and #34 COMBINED.

It's also been played more live than a bunch of songs that actually MADE it onto some studio albums...like Let You Down, The Riff, Spoon, Snow Outside, Sleep To Dream Her etc. So for a song that they seem to like so much, hard to beleive it never got recorded or made it onto anything--I mean I'm happy it didn't because there's a chance we might have heard it more if that was case. But just strange to me.

Oh yeah, it was definitely discussed and I'm sure the band tried to record it. But as we know, it never made it onto anything official. Thank god for that. Of course I want to hear a studio version...I mean, I'll take anything studio from this band now..it's been almost 6 years. I can't believe this band has been in and out of the studio since '13/'14 and haven't released a single thing.
