It's because Rochester has the best fanbase.

Echoing what others said here, solid show, really picked up during Warehouse and after

Funny. No Jimi at a D&T show, yet it's played at almost every full band show.

Carter can't enough of Sexy MF. I think this is a pretty solid D+T set considering it's a random one off show in the middle of a summer tour that's been for the most stale as can be. A lot more mixing up and unpredictability tonight. (Stone opener, ODH, grace, snow outside..songs they haven't even touched full band this tour yet.) no it's not a great set we could do without death on high seas, you and me, save me, bartender etc. but tonight was much much better than I expected. I didn't think they'd play any "tour debuts" at all so I'm happy.

That looks like a nice D&T show. Hopefully the tape will be out later so I can listen to it tomorrow.

Enjoyed this show much more than the DMB show I saw this year. Sure there were songs I really don't care for and the set started to take a slide in the middle, but it ended pretty strong. Dave's voice sounded good and Tim played well. Would I have liked some more "rare" tunes? Sure, but that isn't very realistic these days. I got many of the classics I want out of a show like this. Much better than what I expect from D+T these days.

People near me, however, were terrible.

Great show - great amphitheater, it has a nice atmosphere. Went in early to get a poster but the lineup to get in the gate was over the top - they sold out 2 people in front of me! If anyone has an extra to sell I'm definitely interested...

In one sense I'm relieved to know Dave hasn't forgotten some of his best songs exist, but on the other hand pissed that he doesn't write setlists that contain some of these songs..

The venue is nice but it was a disorganized mess inside. They need to close or limit the lawn because there was way too many people for the wonky way they built the place. The ID stations randomly placed for people to swarm and block everything made me long for prohibition.

It's always so dramatic, repetitive and over the top. When it gets to the point that you're just doing a bit, working on your act and making ridiculous analogies because you feel you didn't quite get all the possible snark into your last post, it can take a break.

A show without Carter and Stone and Snow Outside pop up. Doesnt surprise me the least bit. Carter is probably nixing stuff more than usual. Probably is why Last Stop got shelved after 3 plays and why it wasn't until Alpine that Two Step got played and it plays into Dave's lazy setlist writing. I'd imagine Carter is also the reason why DIDO has been cut from the set twice.

Where were you sitting?
I was 3rd row center and sat the entire show which was great. No clowns by me for the most part.... From Crush on whenever I looked back it seemed everyone was up and things seemed more like a Dmb show... Glad I didn't have to put up with any of that

Why would Carter nix (which means "snow" in Latin coincidentally) Snow Outside or The Stone? They aren't any more challenging than anything else. Just assuming that if something is played Dave & Tim and not full band that it's Carter? These are Dave & Tim staples. Doesn't surprise me no matter how common or rare they are full band that they get played at a one-off D&T show.

I can see why a lot of people enjoyed this show more than DMB. Dave and Tim's sound and the way they play the songs hasn't really changed at all in over a decade. The things people complain about (Carter, Rashawn and Tim's effects, and song structure changes) are absent from D&T shows so it's a much more nostalgic old school feel.

RCE 400s. People directly around me were pretty annoying.

yup, exactly. Everything that I do not like about current DMB is gone (minus a few bad tunes) and I get the nostalgia I am looking for.
