Space Force looks like it might have potential.

I watched the first episode... it's... okay. I'll keep going but I'm not sure about this one yet.

Anyone watch Ozark? Just started Season 3, binged the first 2 in literally a couple days ,couldn't stop watching. Shit is fucked.

I really like the show, though the last few episodes of Season 2 kind of felt like one coversation cut/transition to another conversation etc. kind of choppy, anyone else sense that?

it's very high on my list of shows to watch. I started Succession this week, but might finally do Ozark when I'm finished. It sounds right up my alley.

Ozark is great. Some wtf moments but overall a thrill.

Succession is awesome, as well. Glad I found that one and canít wait for the next season. Tom is my spirit animal.

Space Force got better in the second half, but still pretty meh for a comedy.

Central Park on Apple Tv+ is incredible- itís an animated musical from the creators of bobs burgers featuring stanley tucci, kristen bell, bunch of the cast of hamilton

I only watched the first episode of Space Force so far, but popped for:

Spoiler:
Fred Willard.

If anyone should have played Steve Carrellís father, it was him.

Just finished season one. Spectacular.

And Tom is one of the best characters I've seen on television in a while.

After watching the first episode of Space Force, I'm struggling to find a reason to keep watching. For such a talented cast, I couldn't believe how dull the show was. The most overt attempt at a comedic scene was Steve dancing to Kokomo, and it made me cringe for what felt like an eternity.

Watched the first two episodes of Central Park and enjoyed them, but it's hard not to draw comparisons to Bob's Burgers. The songs in Bob's Burgers are funnier because they're less earnest and characters like Bob and Tina are not singers, so their deadpan adds humour. I'm also not yet sold on the main characters on CP. The whole family seems pretty straight to me so far. Definitely not as weird as the Belchers.

Watched Little Fires Everywhere this week and I liked it. I enjoyed how you could constantly be switching between who you were identifying with and rooting for, never quite knowing who the 'villain' in the story actually was.

Watched Dead To Me seasons 1 and 2 last weekend. I enjoyed it, even though
Spoiler:
that shit they pulled with the twin brother at the start of season 2 is straight-up eye-rolling trash.

If you didn't like the first episode, then the second episode will infuriate you more. Honestly, the show sucks so far and I don't know if I will continue watching it. It's ok though, as there is so much good television available these days.

Meanwhile I'm on my 15th (probably) rewatch of The Office, and even the lousy season 8-9 episodes are making me laugh more than Space Force.

That episode where he had everyone over at his house was priceless

I'm on season 7 of The Office (amazing how fast we can binge watch TV shows these days) and the decline is noticeable. Still a good show. I was on the episode where Ryan was selling Wuphf and there are still moments where Michael legitimately makes me laugh out loud

I didn't really laugh much at space force like I do with office, parks and rec, etc. - but I found it entertaining/the story got better in the second half of the season

Yeah there are a couple episodes like The Christening where you can see things starting to get goofier, but overall, as long as Michael is there the show is still hilarious. And the way they handled his storyline with Holly, and how Michael gradually matures his outlook on Todd Packer, Threat Level Midnight, etc with her help was very well done.

Ok, I stand corrected. I couldnít really sleep last night so I gave Space Force another go and ended up enjoying it. Itís not a laugh-aloud comedy most of the time but I grew to appreciate the characters and parody of the current ďSpace ForceĒ idea, not to mention the satirical references to our current government. I will definitely check out S2 when/if it hits
