The Schottenstein Center (OSU) sucks. Big one size fits all building that is inferior to Nationwide Arena (Blue Jackets) in every way.

But the two arenas have been "cross promoting" the last few years and DMB I'm sure fits more the "campus" environment over downtown. Although I'm not sure if DMB is selling more tickets to college kids or people in their 30s these days.
I know the WWE worked the building for Monday Night Raw a few weeks back and I was shocked they were doing the show there instead of Nationwide.

Guy who said that seems to end up wrong more then not
Anyway these rumors are all over the place and imo will be interesting to see how they turn out. We all know they are not playing 5 shows in a row, 11 over 13 days and def not 3 in one night lol

If you strip out the BS over there, you end up with a tour that looks like:

11/27: Columbus
11/29: MSG
11/30: MSG
12/2: Mohegan Sun
12/4: Manchester, NH
12/5: Albany
12/7: Boston
12/11: Philly
12/13: DC
12/14: C'Ville
12/15: C'Ville

Maybe you add in a date somewhere like Toronto or Chicago on 12/9 too. That's not too far-fetched for a Fall tour, in terms of number of dates, spacing of dates, and places given the history of the band

Yeah I'm skeptical as well until it's announced officially. I think overall this "tour" is going to much shorter than people are saying, the last tour in 2012 was 15 shows, and I'd expect somewhere around 10-15. They also played Wells Fargo and Barclays that year, as well as Izod (no MSG.) I would expect something almost identical to that tour, give or take a few dates or locations. The band has always booked pretty identical tours for years. I'd be surprised if Chicago and Toronto don't get shows, and I'd also be surprised if GA or NC don't get something somewhat close to them.

Also, if there is going to be a TDC meet-up in NYC, someone has to make these shirts for everyone:

I guess you’ll be surprised then. Nothing south of cville. No Toronto or Chicago.

2010 Fall tour 5 of the 12 shows were played in the state of New York. Of the remaining shows, 1 was in Philly and 2 were in Boston.

2012 Fall tour was a little better, but you still had (basically) 20% of the tour in New York City, and roughly 50% within a 5 hour drive of NYC.

It's just their thing.

There’s a seating chart up for “Dave Matthews Band 2018” on the Schottenstein Center’s Ticketmaster venue page.

So, I’m guessing the leaked tour schedule is probably pretty accurate at this point.

Nice find. Yeah usually where there’s smoke there’s fire.

Here is my educated guess. No matter where they might play this fall I would say most of you will be on here bitching about each set. 😂
