Kind of like the Boyd thing being announced after tickets went on sale.

Eventually places like amazon will get a hold of it and they will post it before the band even does.
or, if it's like the Boyd thing, the album itself will just go on twitter and tell us what is on it

To be fair, the music industry is kinda dead when it comes to anything resembling standards, practices, or how things are done.

There's no right way or wrong way to release your music these days.

It is definitely not. We know there are several new songs on the album.

I donít believe the 20+ songs thing, nor did I believe that the bonus disc would be studio cuts. Great, he got the date of the announcement correct. Fair. But thatís it. I just think people are thirsty to be considered a DMB insider when itís really not the case. Backpedaling on statements he was wrong about after proves that. Thatís all.

Details

On June 8, RCA Records will release Dave Matthews Band’s long-awaited new album Come Tomorrow. Come Tomorrow is the band’s ninth studio release and its first since 2012’s Away From The World, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200.

Working between tours at studios in Seattle, Los Angeles and Charlottesville, Dave Matthews Band chose to record with several different producers, including John Alagia, Mark Batson, Rob Cavallo and Rob Evans.

The cover art for Come Tomorrow is by Bťatrice Coron, who creates narrative allegories in silhouette to render archetypal stories. Dave Matthews Band will be previewing songs from Come Tomorrow during its North American tour, which kicks off on May 18 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, TX.

Plus 99% of albums, knowing a tracklist means nothing to a pre-order. I know this one is a little different, but it's not like a pre-order without a tracklist is baffling.

Let's be honest -- 99.9% of the target audience for a DMB album pre-order doesn't need a tracklisting to smash that "PLACE ORDER" button.

Yeah, I'd pay $99 for just those 2 DMBLive on vinyl. Jumped right on that.

To each their own dude. Seems like you wanted him to give you every detail, and maybe a leak too. But you'd probably still be skeptical.
