Yeah the actual Spotify track with headphones and a bit of volume restores some balls and depth not present in the rip. Have a couple gripes about the horns but overall it is tight. Great vocals and catchy chorus.

Listened to it about six fucking times in a row. Smooth.

This one is a real grower, the more I listen to it the more I like it. The higher quality on Spotify really helps.

I really am enjoying this and like how they arranged it in the studio.

But I will say, while sitting at my desk and listening to it on headphones, it does feel like one of those songs you hear on a conference call/webex when you're waiting for others to join. Similar to what others are saying about supermarkets/department stores, but it hit me just then.

I officially really like it. Chorus is great, Fonz and Carter sound really, really punchy, and I think they’re Dave’s best vocals in a really long time. It has an organic feel to it that the vast majority of other newer songs don’t have. It almost feels like this song just poured out of them one day.

But again, Fonz. His bass and Dave’s vocal delivery are MVP here.

Has a high quality rip of this surfaced yet? I can listen to it on my pandora premium account, but I want it in the car.

For me, this studio version has me going back and listening to live versions now. I really enjoy this song now and think it's well done. Is it the best thing ever? No, absolutely not. However it is a good song.

I just don't want to see Dave playing the keys, that's probably my issue with it live.

There's a theme I'm picking up on...

DMB songs, mutated into Dave songs in the studio, which than transmutate back into DMB songs this summer.

Again and Again (Bob Law)

I dig this song. However, the lack of Carter overall and that he doesn’t use a kick-crash combo to enter the next parts is bothering me (sticks to the hats). I know they’re going for minimalist shit here, but man that’s annoying.

And for fuck’s sakes, what is the deal with fading out just as the ending gets going?! Just chops the balls right off of those awesome horns. Baffling. I’m hoping this release just fades out because they didn’t want to give away the transition to the next track. Can’t believe he would just fade out like that.

Loved it when it debuted in Cville in 2016. This is good enough, even with the slower pace and slight melody changes.

As long as they still light it up live I can live with my disappointment in what this track could have been. It's still really good regardless.

Still love this song. Hope they keep the fast pace and the horns live, but I dig this track.

Not really a fan of the name though. Back in '16 I had hoped they'd go with "Over and Again" or "Give it Back" and I still like those better....I think I even like Bob Law better, but oh well.
