I never heard the live versions of the song so I canít compare it to the studio version. I do like it.

Wow, much better. You can head the horns much better. Still wish they were more prevalent though.

If they jam the end of this song out live with Jeff shredding a solo, it will move up a lot in my book, above most of AFTW. Also with Buddy on stage playing piano, Dave can just focus on singing it a lot better too. Curious if they do anything different with it this summer, definitley has room to evolve.

First song off the album I actually want to replay and listen to a bunch of times.

It’s on the band’s YouTube channel as one of those visual videos. I’d post it but I’m on my iPad.

There’s a review out that basically says this album doesn’t sound like standard dmb and the only tune that does is IOY. Why even have Jeff and Reshawn, if you’re not going to use them? I like this track out of all of them though, but why horns in the fade out, strange. I bet it’s a jam till the next song, BTCS style.

We don’t know about all the songs not having a lot of horns yet, so don’t jump the gun. Listening to the live versions though this studio versions actually has more horns than what Jeff and Rashawn do live. Listen again. Could be louder in the mix, but there’s def more. Sounds like Can’t Stop and IOY are going to have a lot of horns and we’ll see about the other songs.

The track on the official listing is 4:25 which is exactly what this is, so this is it, it’s not going to be longer or extended on the album. The song right after is the bkbkbkb.

I haven’t read the review, but my guess is the reviewer means standard DMB as in the traditional sax and violin sound. The current band lineup, and what will be featured on the album without Boyd, is not standard DMB.

I like the bridge. I like the fact the Ladies are just oohing a couple of times in the chorus.

The outro could be a few seconds longer, so we could hear the horns more prominently. There are some odd choices in the mix of Dave's vocal take. And I wish the song were slightly faster.

Overall though, I think a lovely job was done on this song. A-
