I like Rashawn when he is kept in check. When he "goes wild" and squeaks, no sir.

this song is definitely the easiest of the released tracks to listen to... his vocals sound natural as opposed to right at the threshold (or beyond the threshold) of his capable range. there's a nice openness in the instrumentation... space for things to breathe and it sounds crisp.

that said, the crispness of this track sounds like batson to me. i'll be curious to see who it is. do we already know?

There just aren't many moments where I feel like RR is necessary to the music. I don't particularly care for trumpet solos and while I can enjoy some of the "canned" horn lines, I'd love to hear what the band would sound like with just Coffin. When Coffin is doing his own thing over songs I don't really miss Roi at all. When things turn into canned horns and then dueling horn solos I find it's just not what I look for from this band.

Again and Again (Bob Law)

If I had my wish it would go 45 seconds to a minute longer with a horn infused jam at the end with a sterotypical (DMB) abrupt end

Alagia mixed everything, so they're all going to be someone + Alagia or just Alagia.

Samurai Cop and Again and Again are Cavallo + Alagia, TGIY is Evans + Alagia.

Yep, that's basically all I'd like for it, as well.

The horns build to those lines the whole song--such a shame you hear them only once as it's fading out.

Feels too slow at first, but picks up momentum as it goes along.

The horns are sadly lacking.

I still like it though. But it should have been longer.

This band has awful decision-making skills when it comes to the studio. And also when crafting setlists that include any song from Stand Up.

That's all Alagia. The band probably has a full song laid down, he chose to fade it out right there. Ridiculous.

Yeah, a commercial CD can hold 70+ minutes w/o fucking up. Here is an example of a song that should have been allowed to jam.
