I truly dig this number and I think the simplicity mixed with the vocals is WHY it works well. Instead of looking at it as a piece with sections or not with sections, the idea seems to be more of a simple desperation plea. I still don't think it'll work live, but it works studio.

I don't think this will be the only Dave solo song on the album...

I do see a lot of potential for it live, you know with an actual Band performing. I can see it develop and really get peoples socks off.

I can enjoy it for what it is, but hope it is not indication of the collaboration and production of the rest of the unheard material.
But the record has 14 tracks. BTCS has 11 and one of them is PNP. IOW, they easily could have omitted these because they’ve released albums with fewer tracks before.

This was made and included because Dave wanted it there.

Every track on BTCS (-PNP) is over 5 minutes. This album has 1

And it's not even the one that should be over 5 minutes either.

I like this one quite a bit. Haters hate. Cool groove. And Dave, weather you like it or not tries something different. I dig it.

I think the goal was to give us all something we could sing along to.

Dave can't hit the notes, I'm sure as heck not going to be able to.

Is it weird that the first two "singles" really don't showcase Jeff and Rashawn at all?
