Good review overall
Is that what its about? I dont really get it to be hones. I just read the lyrics, and it more seems like a guy dealing with a crying child? or a crying woman?

I suck at lyrical analysis, unlike other posters here.

I'm here to say that I not only really like the song Come Tomorrow, but I actually seek it out to listen to it. Yeah, I said it.

I take it the way I interpret it. I definitely don't see it as your bold. But that's the cool thing about lyrics that aren't so blatant, it's open to various interpretations.

btw, in no way do I claim to be good at "lyrical analysis", that's just my take

I like everything about it except that god awful chorus. Ruins it for me. So much potential with the rest, though.

The chorus, while horrendous, is stuck in my head and will not leave.

You guys are reading way too much into this. He's saying he is so in love with her that he would dig a hole from one side of the earth to the other, if that's the distance that separated them. Much like "I would walk 500 miles."

Now line 2 is another story. He seems to be hoping that whilst digging, he will be able to steal the sails (sales??) from the future world leaders (who are greedy).

yeah, I didn't take it personally. I just wanted to be clear that I don't consider myself particularly good at that in any way

Guys, you missed the point. His kid dug a hole in the back yard, and he thought it was super deep. His lyrics are that DEEP too!

On the whole I agree. Although, I think the lyrics for Do You Remember and Virginia In The Rain are better than anything on the last four albums, and on par with stuff on BS/LWS.
