They do seem to be my thing. Although, that doesn't always work. The Black Keys is seemingly tailor made for being the type of band I would absolutely love and I'm only crazy about ten songs over all the albums I've heard.

Anyways, these guys are great on the few songs I've heard.

it doesn't really matter, they're all accessible. just start from the beginning, Sink Or Swim.

this band is definitely tailor made for you, no way you won't love them. i said it a few days ago, but they really have crafted their sound out of basically combining Springsteen and Pearl Jam.

Alright cool, I'm adding it on Spotify now. Thank you

I'll listen to it over this weekend and then share my thoughts.

it wouldn't surprise me if they never really explode, just based on how hard it is for a rock band to really get huge these days, but they really do have it in them to be the next Foo Fighters if they play their cards right.

i was talking to a buddy about this the other night, and just comparing them to Hold Steady who they seemed to get lumped in with early on. and how THS has always wanted to be a huge arena act, but they'll never be one because of Craig's voice/looks/mature subject matter but the Gaslight Anthem has all the right ingredients and mainstream appeal. but who knows, the american public is stupid and unpredictable.

as do i, but i don't find it necessary to have my inane thoughts on every subject heard. you're not a fan of the band and you have no reason to be here besides trolling.

Ok, so I listened to Sink or Swim two times in it's entirety so far. There are a few songs that I like so far, but I need to get used to it a little more. It's the way I am with every album that I listen to for the first time or two. Pretty good feeling for it do far.

I would have recommended starting with '59 Sound.

Their sound changed quite a bit between Sink or Swim and '59 Sound.

Both are great, but '59 Sound is the one that instantly sold me.
