I know you know this already, just asking if I read this correctly:

The fence is on your property, so the dogs are trespassing even coming near it, right?

Yes.

Lawyer's dilemma -- knowing you're correct, but also understanding that proving it isn't worth anyone's time.

I love dogs more than people. If you get a vet bill, I'd just take it to the police as evidence their dogs are running loose. I suspect that would end the conversation

Made an offer on a house today, looking to close the week after our wedding. Damn, if I don't lose my mind before June, I never will!

Congrats?

That seems stressful as hell, especially for a penny-pincher like me. Took me 45 minutes and two drinks to purchase cheap car parts yesterday.

Incredibly stressful, but it'll be worth it once it's done.

Yikes, two things I run from you're taking on all at once: home ownership and marriage.

Both require too much money, effort, and permanency for my taste.

Dont own a home, but I own a 1994 Honda Accord. A character, that car. Taught me many things through DIY repairs. Did upper control arms today - not a difficult job but a fun one.

Lately I've done CV arms, brakes, distributor removal/ICM replacement, and upon discovering a stripped oil pan plug, am considering trying the oil pan. Have the gasket and pan already. May just hire it out.

I'm the exact opposite of handy....that sounds like quite the undertaking.

Just added 7 pounds of freon to my leaky and bone-dry AC unit to combat this recent GA humidity...$593.00. Good times. Not a good way to kick off the weekend at 5PM. Unfortunately, I see a new unit in my VERY near future which will run me at least $2K. If you guys need me, I'll be at my kitchen counter drinking heavily.

Ah, the joys of homeownership.

My lady just popped the 'moving-in' question on me recently. I thought THIS was a big decision...

12 for me...I watched mine being built. Now it's being torn down ever so slowly, one piece at a time.

Our inspector gets there....we get there....nobody else shows (seller, seller's agent, our buyers agent) and the water is shut off so our guy only did as much as he could without the water....for now. Can't make this shit up.

Ugh. We had to do that last year, the whole 'new system' thing. And thank god we did, I can't imagine having to get through this summer re-charging an AC system with my wife in her 3rd trimester. Not something you want to spend that kind of money on, but worth it when you do have to.
