No doubt it’s a pretty solid set for sure. But here’s the problem... this type of set should be standard during the summer tour. The fact that this is the best set out of all the special/destination venues the entire summer is unfortunate. The setlist haven’t been creative really since like 2015 and even then the flow wasn’t great with two sets. So you have to go back to like 2013 since they got creative on the sets consistently for at least a good portion of the tour. 2018/2019 have really lacked in creativity setlist wise. Almost, the same thing night after night especially amongst the one nighters. Of corse some exceptions. The beginning of the 2018 winter tour was pretty sweet. Then after Nashville-Texas run was also pretty solid. Then right back to the same old same old.

Why does being on a casino circuit force them to keep a static set list? Is this a requirement by Casinos, because having different sets every night at a casino may drive people to see multiple shows.

You can't just look at the current artists doing the casino circuit like Aerosmith because they basically had static sets even when they were touring around the world. Pop acts like Britney have a ton of choreography that goes along with the show that needs to be learned. That probably doesn't lend itself to different sets every night.

I don't think the Casino Circuit has ever had an act that was known for touring and random sets every night.

Casino shows are horrible because a huge chunk of the crowd are just regulars with comped tickets. Based on that, DMB would probably play a festival set every show. The day they start playing casinos regularly is the day I stop going.
