No kidding. I assume he’s a friend of the band? What are the qualifications?

Overall, I'm enjoying the channel. But, not enough to pay more for streaming.
I was actually pleasantly surprised when I heard Blackbird.. I haven't listened to it in probably 10 years. I was disappointed that Dave didn't play the guitar part at the time but this time I got into it more

Jeff Coffin chose "Paranoid Android" to play. Good pick, Jeff.
Is anyone compiling a list of the band's picks? I've heard this one, and Buddy Strong picking "In the Air Tonight".

Dave’s choices aren’t surprising at all.

They play the band talking about the artist repeatedly but then play different songs after. I heard Talking Heads This Must Be the Place. I’ve heard Stefan’s Bob Marley thing too many times and they played No Woman No Cry, Stir It Up, and Three little Birds.

Jeff - Flecktones (Big Country) and another one I forgot.
Carter - Earth, Wind, and Fire (Kalimba Story)

Was the Sting song English Gentleman in New York? I think Rashawn played that for Roi because Roi said thatís what he based his sax playing in a rock band on

This edition of the station is much better than in years past.

Here’s how Radio generally works: you group songs together. Let’s say A-G. A block songs get played 50% of the time. B Block songs get 25% and so on. So programming matters and has a huge impact. I don’t exactly know how SXM works these channels out but it feels like there is a real trend towards a full time channel that is regularly programmed.

It was actually well done by them this morning when they played a clip of Jeff praising Carter, then the next song was DIDO. I was waiting for the next song to be a D+T song.

Last week they had Rashawn talking about a Sting song and then they played a Tool song which was confusing.

They just played American Baby Intro from LT 9 (Vegas).

I had somehow forgotten how much I hated the douchebag who thought he was cool to whistle with the beat as loud as he could to ruin a ton of songs over a few year stretch. That guy is the worst.

Oh wow I totally forgot about that. The ABI from Vegas is brutal, he's all over it. I somewhat respect the troll game though.
