On that note... NJ's PNC 2018 needs a release, that show was a blast and the tape got wrecked by a bad PA setup that night. Really a ridiculous shame.

Last half is horrendous. I'd never in a million years listen to this if it was released.

I was there. Didn’t notice a hiccup with the PA. What did you notice?

I was at that PNC show and it was a really great show, my favorite of the ones I attended last summer. On paper the last half isn't good at all, but it actually was great live being there, not nearly as bad as it looks. That Mid-set Watchtower tore the place down, and RR guest spot made Cornbread REALLY enjoyable and I hate that song with a passion. The first half was enough to make the ending bearable, and I remember not even being upset about the one song encore because the show was so solid.

I went in expecting a lot of garbage, and we got LLD, Pig, Watchtower (midset), Raven, 41, Billies, Cornbread w/RR, Warehouse, Jane..a lot of great ones. This was a really good LLD too, not as good as MSG N1 2018, but really good.

I missed this show last summer and it bummed me out. It is what it is. So no taper at this one, right?

Yeah I would say overall what I really want now is more 2000 releases. I hope we get one soon (i.e. within the next three years )

We do have some of the best performances of that night released already which is nice. The LIOG from that show is highly underrated though.

That Vernon '98 show is a great tape (quality-wise) but for me, the show itself is kind of lifeless in many spots.

Not to me. I adore this show (8.2.98), and I thought you could tell Dave loved it to. I listened to it after you mentioned this probably a decade ago, and didn't feel that way, either. But that's OK! I think the airy nature of the tape due the venue type lends itself to that feel. A lot of those open-air California venues give you that same feel. But I couldn't feel any lifelessness in the music. I will say that the show is similar to 8/4 and 8/4 does feel sooo intense from start to finish including that filthy run in the middle.

I have great memories of 6/8 as it was one of the first shows that I got. I'm with Mersh, to me it is a Top 5 DMB show. It was the first time I ever heard the instrumental intro to OSW, it was when I was just getting into DMB live so I was collecting live versions of Say Goodbye due to the lyrics changes, so I've listened to this one a ton. Shit to be honest in 1998 when I got this show, I did not know who Bela Fleck was.

Multi-track Griesar era show: If such a thing exists and they could put it together, I'd buy it

Multi-track '94 show: Ditto if they did a '94 release too. They were filming the WWYS video during a 3 night stand at the Fox in Boulder Colorado in November of '94. It's possible they could have been recording in multitrack at the time and maybe they could give us a nice little compilation of the 3 night stand a la Live Trax 30

Specific 1995 shows: We've got so many '95 releases now, but there are still some shows I'd take - the RSO shows, 8/15, and 8/20

Cow Palace '96 - CAASH baby

Early Summer '97 with the Flecktones - I'd take anything, but preferably 6/8

Any show I was at - I'm sure you'd all do the same, but in particular 5/30/99, 7/7/04, 6/21/08, 6/13/09, and 6/8/13 would all make good releases aside from being some of the best shows I attended

The only open ended years for me are 1998 and 2000 now. I'd take just about anything from those years, but in particular:
1998 - One of the Herbie Hancock shows, 8/7, 12/3, 12/7, or a good show with Greg Howard
2000 - As much of the September run that they're willing to give, I'd take

I'd probably also be willing to drop cash on a top notch show from 2002 or 2004 as well.

What would your list look like?
I came up with this list 4 years ago and a 4th item can be checked off the list. One good release a year is really all I can ask for so... good job I guess?
