Yeah 6/8/97 would be huge. They can pitch it historically too, it's Coffin's first time on stage with DMB.

Kind of interesting that both Coffin and Rashawn's first time on stage with DMB were in Hartford

I've always preferred the LIOG on 06/13 to any others that summer. Any reason the 06/08 show is the preferred show that tour, other than it being Jeff's first?

For some reason, I just cant get into Jimi Thing that much. I like it more D&T.

Well well, somebody topped this thread before I had a chance to. Thought I would go back and review my takes on this since we've hit a bit of a slump as far as releases go. Looking at my original post here's what's left (with what has actually already been released since then in bold):

Quote:

Multi-track '94 show: Ditto if they did a '94 release too. They were filming the WWYS video during a 3 night stand at the Fox in Boulder Colorado in November of '94. It's possible they could have been recording in multitrack at the time and maybe they could give us a nice little compilation of the 3 night stand a la Live Trax 30

Specific 1995 shows: We've got so many '95 releases now, but there are still some shows I'd take - the RSO shows, 8/11, and 8/20

Cow Palace '96 - CAASH baby

Early Summer '97 with the Flecktones - I'd take anything, but preferably 6/8

Any show I was at - I'm sure you'd all do the same, but in particular 5/30/99, 7/7/04, 6/21/08, 6/13/09, and 6/8/13 would all make good releases aside from being some of the best shows I attended

The only open ended years for me are 1998 and 2000 now. I'd take just about anything from those years, but in particular:
1998 - One of the Herbie Hancock shows, 8/7, 12/3, 12/7, or a good show with Greg Howard
2000 - As much of the September run that they're willing to give, I'd take

I'd probably also be willing to drop cash on a top notch show from 2002 or 2004 as well.
Yikes. That list is almost three years old and only two of the things I listed have actually been released since then. They did give us a 2002 and 2004 since then but I'm not sure I would call either "top notch" (LT40 fans can come at me). We DID get the DMB Live25 release since then too which was stellar so credit for that.

Come on there are so many good ideas here.

Yeah the 2002 and 2004 releases were middle of the road and unfortunately we probably won’t get another for awhile.

I’m thinking we’ll get a good 98 one this year coupled with the BTCS vinyl issue.

Then I’d say September 2000 and June 1997 are my next highest priorities.

Very little, if anything, has changed for me since this thread was first posted.

Also I'm with batleon on LT 40.

Lol Mitch, you chose...poorly. The typical from that show is really good, but the next night is so much better.

Still hoping for 8/21/98 (with Tim and Herbie Hancock) and full 9/2/00 one day. We have Stone but Rapunzel, Raven and/or Jimi are all so good from that date.
