WTWE was the one dud that kept popping up in 2004, too. That's a great show.

I'd pay for vinyl album reissues. I'll find anything else through other means

I'd like them to do some vinyl only live releases (w/ download included of course).

I think Spring '02 is actually fairly overrated. A lot of that flecktones Canada shows and the epic 41 that ensued have a lot to do with it. I wouldn't complain at all about a release from that era, but it's not my ultimate choice. I would love another Sept '03 show, Oct. '04 VFC show or Summer '00 if we're going with that general timeframe.

Why do I have a feeling the next Live Trax will be from one of the shows they did in Europe at the end of 2015.

I don't see that happening unless they've got another European tour to promote in 2016. |

Agreed. No way do they release two '15 shows in a row.

Agreed. I don't see them going on a '15 splurge the way they released a bunch of '08 shows.

I think the best shows of the tour are the less discussed ones. I really like 5.10, 5.23, the the 4/29 - 5/5 stretch. I've given 4/7 a couple goes in the past few years and outside of the obvious highlights, the rest of the show is just there for me. |

Bat and Rob are 100% right. It's not that the shows were boring, bland and run-of-the-mill. A lot of the attention that tour received for years was due to the fact that it was such a breath of fresh air that the band survived 2001. I distinctly remember thinking during some of those shows that I was going to see a band playing 90% ED stuff, and continue to pour out new forced trite Baritone-guitar songs. But that wasn't the case. Pig came back and with a motherfuckin' vengeance, Butch seemed a bit more involved in some of the older tunes, and as Rob pointed out some of the more evenly flowed performances came from shows that didn't get the fan treatment like 5/10.
I think the enduring focus of Spring '02 is a testament to the power of excitement the fanbase had at that time due to DMB proving they were still DMB, and that focus and attention just settled in the fanbase year after year, long after many of those fans had left the scene, to now where we're still talking about that tour.

Now when I listen to something like 7/29, that lives up to the hype every time. I've never really listened to any of the May shows from '02 though. Might have to give those a try. |

What would I gladly pay for? Amongst other things:
- June 1997 - MSG '98 shows - September 2000 box set (the bigger the better, I'll pay) - Dec. 2000 MSG shows - Solid 2002 or 2004 shows |

2002 or VFC 2004 would be solid.
