Picked up The Grand Tour on Amazon. Haven't watched any of the new Top Gear (or the old) since Jeremy was... well... Jeremy and the show underwent that transformation.

I got it set up on my Roku and phone today. I’m seeing a lot of reports of overwhelmed servers, but haven’t actually tried to watch anything yet. All I know is that if I can’t watch The Mandelorian tonight, I will be angry.

Watched the first episode with no problem. Into it so far.

I gotta say, I love that Disney+ isn't putting out all the episodes of stuff at once. The binge culture is too hard to keep up with.

I’m browsing around it now and get a connection error message pretty frequently, but I’ve tried to watch a couple of things and it’s working fine so far. I’m not able to spend time actually watching anything at work, but the sheer amount of content on this thing is ridiculous already. It looks like all of phases 1 & 2 of the MCU are there, except for Edward Norton’s Hulk movie, the poor thing. Mainlining the first ten seasons of The Simpsons is going to take a lot of my sleeping time for the next few months.

Yeah, we're watching The Morning Show on AppleTV and I like that (after the first 3) there's a new episode every Friday. Great show, too.

Also, I didn’t know until today that you can bundle Hulu and ESPN+ with it for 12.99 a month, which is also insane.

lol "the poor thing"

Yeah, the amount of content is ridiculous. I LOVE that you can download shows for offline viewing like Netflix. I somehow missed that feature being announced.

Had to fire up the X-Men animated series for a second just to hear that awesome theme song again.

It's going to be fun going through all this stuff again.

I got a year of that for free with my new iPhone, haven't started watching anything yet, but all the shows so far interest me. I'll give it a shot soon!

I do appreciate the weekly schedule. And I like how it’s not specifically one episode every seven days. Adds suspense to the viewing experience.

Oversaturation of content.

Thankfully it's my choice whether to watch it.

Looks like Friends was acquired by the new HBO platform (something like $425m) set to deploy in 2020. Glad I got my fill on Netflix the last year or two!

We are a house that nixed HBO after GOT. Obviously that platform and this new one have some cash to throw at a revival. Any other reasons to consider HBO anymore? What are you guys watching on there?

Does HBO still offer Treme? If so, watch it as soon as you get the chance.

I still need to watch the last two episodes of Treme. And the last two of Fringe, too. Damn, what was wrong with me back then? I committed so much time to watching those shows and just.....stopped?
